Ive been looking for a reliable steam engine for my 1-meter RC steamship build, and this RW-L2 turned out to be perfect. The build quality is excellent solid brass parts, smooth motion, and it has a nice weight to it. I was a bit nervous before starting it up for the first time, but it ran beautifully after a bit of careful oiling and setup. Shipping took about a week, which was faster than I expected. Very happy with this purchase it really brings my model ship to life!

Once tuned, the engine runs with a deep, realistic sound. The belt and fan motion look great, and I added a fuel tank and ignition system to get it running smoothly. Throttle response is quick and stable. The photos show my own assembled and tested setup C it looks fantastic in person.
If I had to nitpick, Id say the manual could be a bit more detailed for beginners. But overall, this is a high-quality kit that combines hands-on fun with real mechanical learning. Definitely worth it!
