I've never tried a metal assembly kit before, but this one was easy to follow and really satisfying. Took me a couple of evenings, but seeing it come to life was awesome. Now I'm already looking at which working model kit to build next.

Ive been looking for a reliable steam engine for my 1-meter RC steamship build, and this RW-L2 turned out to be perfect. The build quality is excellent solid brass parts, smooth motion, and it has a nice weight to it. I was a bit nervous before starting it up for the first time, but it ran beautifully after a bit of careful oiling and setup. Shipping took about a week, which was faster than I expected. Very happy with this purchase it really brings my model ship to life!
